Troubleshooting training for experienced Palo Alto Networks Firewall administrators
The Palo Alto Networks Firewall Troubleshooting course is three days of instructor-led training that will help you:
- Investigate networking issues using firewall tools including the CLI
- Follow proven troubleshooting methodologies specific to individual features
- Analyze advanced logs to resolve various real-life scenarios
- Solve advanced, scenario-based challenges
Objective
Successful completion of this three-day, instructor-led course will enhance the participant’s understanding of how to troubleshoot the full line of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. Participants will receive hands-on opportunities to troubleshoot common problems related to the configuration and operation of the security features of the Palo Alto Networks® PAN-OS® operating system. Completion of this class will help participants develop an in-depth knowledge of how to troubleshoot visibility and control over applications, users, and content.

Audience
Security Engineers, Security Administrators, Security, Operations Specialists, Security Analysts, Network Engineers, and Support Staff
Prerequisites
Participants must complete the Firewall Essentials: Configuration and Management (EDU-210) course. Participants must have strong practical knowledge of routing and switching, IP addressing, and network security concepts, and at least six months of on-the-job experience with Palo Alto Networks® firewalls.
Course Materials
The course materials can be obtained as hardcopy (paper) or as eBook.
The eBooks are made available via the onSecure platform, which can be accessed online via the browser or offline via the Kortex app (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android). Within the platform/app you have the possibility to search in the course materials, set bookmarks, highlight text passages, create notes and print the contents. If you decide to use the eBook, we recommend that you bring a tablet or notebook for the course so that you can work in the lab environment and the lab description (eBook) at the same time.
